I told you it wasn't dead! Yeah, I saw it when those of you placed it in your "dead" and "graveyard" bookshelves, and I gotta say, each one of those hurt my heart a bit, but I get it. I haven't updated the story since April 2019!
So I wanted to let you all know that chapter 8 is coming soon. I've already finished Twilight's portion, and I'm in the process of writing Applejack's now. I hope to finish it this week. I also rewrote Twilight's section of chapter 7. I just wasn't happy with it, I felt like Twilight needed to be a bit more abrasive and defensive. Once chapter 8 is done, I'm going to go over chapters 1-6 and polish them up, and add a couple lore bits that I totally forgot to add before. So yeah, I'm putting a lot of work into this once again.
Now to anyone here that would like to continue The Darkening but are thinking "Oh gosh, I don't remember what was happening and that's such a big story to re-read" I've got you covered! About a week before I publish chapter 8, I'll post a summary of the story up to this point, so if you don't want to reacquaint yourself with the story, you can read that and then jump right in. I think that's all I had to say...so I'll see you all again when I post that summary. Until then, happy reading/writing!
