I've tried several times to rework the chapter where Ken and Shining Armour make up (namely removing sombra as the threat, since he will be returning in season 9), but it just isn't working with the layout i was using originally, so i'm thinking i'll try it later on in the fic now. i think the mane problem is it was too early in the story. Ken needs time to get to know shining over regular interactions.
so, i've unpublished the chapter for the moment and will, at some point, have it set as a later chapter. either that, or i'll just have their connection happen over the course of the fic in small bits throughout other chapters. it is season 5 where the story is at, so there are a few times i can do that before anything big, like announcing Cadance is preggers with Flurry. or, maybe that'll in a way help, since Ken herself was originally in a family where she had 5 siblings, so knows a few things about caring for babies, having been the oldest. we'll see
sorry for the hype of fixing the chapter, only to not end up doing anything.
not sure what fic i'll update next now. maybe i'll try another for it's a screwed up life, maybe call of a raven, maybe the human life style... with magic. i'm not sure. all i know, is there won't be an update today and for that, i am sorry.

Yeah gotta say that confused me when I read it. I have heard nothing about season 9 other than it will happen so I'm not sure if this info is true or not.

Glad you are redoing for that issue could of had a longer arc.
However you are falling into the same trap as you did with Living Nightmare. Don't worru about canon. You are already non canon with Ken just existing. Keep overall where you wanted to go. If something happens in canon that works with tour stoey go ahead and put it in. If it doesn't fit ignore it.
