New Story: Welcome Home · 3:16am Dec 2nd, 2017
I worked on my latest story for ten months.
I published it twelve hours ago.
It has only eight votes.
Seriously?
Lives can intersect far beyond the day-to-day physical world, but you might need to see the world through the eyes of other ponies to understand.
Come, leave your world behind for a few minutes. Experience an epic tragedy of three dear friends—and the redemption that follows.
It's a strange story, but maybe worth a read, no? Go show it some love, foalks. Don't be intimidated by the Dark or Gore tags or the number of chapters: it's not that long, and things aren't always what they seem.
I just started this a minute ago and it already seems interesting. I'm going back to read the prequel first before I get too far.
I’ve just been too busy to read anything lately :( :(
But I promise I’ll get to it eventually!
I'm one of those, now 14, votes! It certainly was a trip.
I'll upvote it, but I don't think there's many 2nd person stories that traditionally do well. Sorry...
I'll be getting to it this weekend.

Well, I'd rather you read it at some point so you know if you should take away that upvote. I'm more interested in readers than horsefame!

It's no rush! I just want to share it if it tickles anypony's fancy.
Sorry man I don't read as much on Fridays. It's on the list though. If that makes you feel better.
I’m awaiting a free afternoon, so I can properly give it a whirl!

Not much time spent there. What else would you call the total combination of uphooves and downhooves?
Good god, ten months? You have a better attention span than I. If I can't bust out a 70,000-word novel (at least the draft anyway) in about four months or so, it starts to grate on me. A 20,000-word fic better be done in 3-4 weeks or...it just better be done.
But then, other than work and family time, and a few smatterings of hobbies here and there, writing is what takes up most of my time, because I love the act of writing so much. So I probably devote too much time to it.

Well, it wasn't constant, it just took me that long to get around to finishing it up. Most of that time was it floating around in my brainspace getting prepared every now and then. Gross exaggeration on my part, really.

Well...alright, point. If I count the stuff I've just plain had on hold, it goes much, much longer.

But I wanna be supportive!
Also, your party at the con was very nice... especially when all the drunks left lel and you let me and Mad stay hehe.
