Release Schedule News · 4:45am Nov 6th, 2017
Nothing big is going to change, and I'm not going to extend the schedule at all, so don't freak out or anything. The thing is that I work a night shift, and when I post my chapters, it's on my long weekend off. I generally go to sleep Monday morning after forgetting to post a new chapter for A Thief's Tale, so new chapters are going to be released Sunday night/Monday morning at twelve o'clock midnight.
So for all of you that stay up late on Sundays, there's some good news. If you're reading this at the time of the posting, then you only have a few more minutes to wait before Chapter Fifty-Four drops, so I hope you enjoy. This post is going to be... Contradictory, I should say, but please keep it quiet. I like fucking with people.

I read the actual chapter before this and I will admit, I felt so damn sad, but I have to give it to you that it definitely works in the way of fucking with people. I admit, it fucked with me hard, but I absolutely understand the desire to fuck with people. I could have saved myself if I had just read the blog post first, but fuck, I couldn't with the actual chapter staring me right in the face. I thank you for understanding my irritation, and hopefully everyone else will be just as understanding as I was (and that they won't be coming for you with pitchforks and torches for fucking with them so hard). You don't have any idea how glad I am that you decided to read the chapter first. That was almost a complete miss, though in my defense, I've put 'Chapter Fifty-Four' is not the end as a tag in a few blog posts now. I figured I'd leave a little saving grace for those who pay attention to such things, but I'm glad you missed it.
Some people will be salty, some people will not. I think most of my fanbase has a thick enough skin to let the prank be humorous instead of a massive piss-off since, at this point, Max has pulled some serious bullshit throughout the story and they're still reading.

Wow. I read the chapter last night, right after you posted it. When I got to the end, got the kick in the nutsack, and was gobsmacked stunned. Sitting there stewing for like 20 minutes.
Was even thinking 'Why would he commission that awesome new cover art when he was just going to drop it?' Was sad and just didn't get it.
