Ringo Dingo D'oh: Tf did I go? · 4:31am Apr 15th, 2023
Sup nerds? I live, I breath, I'm no longer literally living in a forest. Life is better.
Yeah, so I was homeless from August of 2022 until January 2023. Funny how life works. Explained below.
As for ALL FUTURE WRITING PROJECTS:
Basically, when I get to it, I get to it. I still love writing and the soul of a good story, just don't have reasonable means right now. A Thief's Tale is my top priority whenever I can actually, yknow, finish the rewrites. I'm somewhat sure that chapters 40~50 will be the longest wait to get through. Shortly after that, the Canon changes in its entirety, so I can basically post everything on a schedule while jotting through some other stuff I've wanted to do for a while.
For the time being; Be well, be healthy, and take care. Never let yourself be hurt for the sake of another's comfort; They'll only drive the knife deeper and swear you're hurting their wrist by resisting. Your pain is valid, your endeavors are worthy, and your value is defined by you alone. Never throw your day away because 5 minutes were the worst they could've been. If you can see that silver lining, there's no reason to ignore it. Even while waiting for daybreak or sunset, those silver linings can get you through the day.
Trust me; When your tarp gives way and washes away half of the food you spent hours gathering and preparing... You have to keep going. You have to save what you can and plan for the future.
I'm gonna kill the old sign off here. I started A Thief's Tale in the very same house I live in now. If there ever was a time for a new start, I'd say it's now.
'Til we read again.
[Why I was gone; TL;DR: Ya Boi was homeless]
Probably not too interested in my experiences and trials as a nohomie boi, so I'll sum it up here; Lost a job I put too much effort into not too long after breaking up with my abusive ex. Probably could've lived with her, but nah. Chose to ask family for a place to stay, everyone basically said it would be too much trouble, so I fucked off into the woods and stayed there for about 2 months.
October, I got lucky with a homeless shelter and managed to get a bed there for another 2 months. Eventually, I got a message from an old friend who managed to get me a ride back down South. Currently saying with family, working, and doing alright! Getting back to society and whatnot.]
Wow, that sure was a wild ride. I'm glad that you are better now. I've read the rewrites not too long ago, i must say, i'm liking them more than og. Have a nice day/night good sir
Dude! Thank you for the advice and glad to hear your doing better!
Yo u still good dog
