Chapter 36 is officially done as of this moment, but I might wait a bit longer to drop it so I can get started on a backlog. That said, eh. Just lemme know.
Considering how much has changed between the OG Story and the Rewrites, I'm finding myself a little let down with the amount of things I've had to fully cut. I'm also considerably more satisfied with the direction and focus of the story. Give and take, pros and cons. All that jazz and jive. As far as certain plot points go, specifically all the shit involved with Esteril and the- Well, The latter 20 or so chapters of the story, I'm glad to see it go. There were a few pearls I enjoyed reading through from time to time while pumping my ego and tearing it to shreds in turns, but overall, never really could say I was satisfied with much out of anything past OG Chapter 50.
That's why it's all different, but some folk already know that, lmao. Speaking to those 'some folk': You might have noticed that even while doing the middle-chapters and the new ones, that the Rewrites aren't lining up perfectly, and it's because of my process. Satisfied until I post it and read back through. Then I rework it multiple times in my head until it drives me crazy and I do it better. As convoluted as I've already made posting between Fimfic and RR, they'll both end up with the full rewrite as I intend it to be. Fimfic will keep the OG Chapters and Royal Road will only have the new stuff.

Take your time, it's not a race in my opinion tough. Said that, i mostly feel the same about the later chapters, as if they didn't really belong there and were more like a 'what if'sort of thing, still i liked them well enough...

Glad to hear they weren't terrible per se, but still. Hopefully the new chapters are still better than the oldies.
