This is a Skeeter the Lurker appreciation post. Skeeter is a wonderful pure cinnamon roll and a good friend. He reads all of your shitty fanfiction, even before it gets edited, and will be there for you when you're having it rough. He is always there, commenting on your fanfic, and almost always will be positive about it even if it's trash. He's great to be around at cons even if he has a problem and he knows what he did. He is wonderful and deserves to be reminded of that.

Skeeter is wonderful! He is always nice to me and always remembers me at every convention. He knows everyone and treats them kindly. I can't imagine Skeeter not being there with al of us, and I hope he always will be.
I can't ever think of a time when Skeeter wasn't encouraging with his posts. No matter who he's commenting for or what he's commenting about, it's just plain nice. I've never met him, heck, never even really talked with him, but I've seen him on nearly everything I read. (Seriously, how does he do that?) So, you're awesome Skeeter.
Couldn't agree more! He's the flipping patron saint of this site, or something.
I'd follow him to show how much I like this work. But I already follow him. And like and fave his stories. And appreciate what he does for the site and the community. Mmmm.

How about some context for this post?
This post was born during a conversation between me and Ny here on his story, To Be, which you totally need to read.
During it, Ny unwittingly became the recipient for a bit of a mini-rant from me on my woes about two jobs and how I basically do nothing but work work work these days.
Ny took it in stride, and I apologize for that by the way, and offered his condolences and well wishes.
And then he went a step further: this blog. Which floored me.
Ny here is a good guy, and I'm honestly happy to know him.
