Thank you · 8:15pm Jul 29th, 2017
Hi! I just wanted to thank you all for supporting me in my writing endeavors on this site. It's been such a long time, over a year, and yet it still feels like nothing at all. Honesty, I don't think I could have made it this far without all of your encouragement and kindness.
Fimfiction, while there are a few exceptions, is a generally nice and welcome place to write down and share stories. And about ponies! What more could you ask for? This site has helped my so much with improving my skills. Like, an unbelievable amount.
When I first started out in here, I had hardly ever written on an electronic device before. I had been writing stories since I was 6, and yet I didn't know how many spaces I needed after a quotation. I didn't know enough about perspective, omnipresent narrators, or theme. And I have learned so much, and am eternally grateful because of it.
Some of you may even remember my very first story (morbidly dark by the way and since deleted) and am probably relieved I don't still write that way. So I wanted to take the time to let you all know that. You guys are awesome and just inspire me everyday.
Now, I might have been more inclined to write this blog because I have hardly been active. I rarely post blogs, write stories, or comment on anything. And that's completely my fault. You may not care very much, but I have discovered that my passion for writing MLP stories had dwindled.
Don't get my wrong, the show is still adorable, but it just doesn't interest me as much as it used to. I don't know if I'll by leaving soon, or if I'll come back just to talk, but I do want to possibly get out a few more ideas to the internet.
It's very rare I find myself writing original stories at home. And I suppose then it may be beneficial to stay on here's longer, as it gives me a small sense of motivation to do something with all the words I have inside.
I would gladly take any suggestions or things you want to see from me. I'd love to broaden my genres too, and try something new. Dark? Sci-if? Long chapters? A character I never do? And if you have an suggestions for improvement, please let my know! I had no idea what I'm doing with my life, so :P
(And if you've read this far, which is most likely a slight few, thank you, again, for listening.)
~Leah
Seeing the princesses would be nice.

It would be! I'm think Luna's your favorite, right? I love her :3
Personally, I'd like you try and experiement with rarely used characters. (Saffron Masala, Gabby the Griffion, etc...)
Lit boi.
If you want an idea how about you try setting one in the other timelines made by the cuie map. I mean hay something had to happen to make things they way they were.

I don't know, really. I guess that's all I could think of to say.

She is! I love reading about her and Celestia being sister horses and interacting with Cadance... in the few stories where that's a thing.

No problem. I liked it :D

Lol nice
you aren't the only one who has lost the interest in it lately. i stopped after season 5.
"Don't hurt me... no more~"
I saw those tags. Also, this ain't rambling. :D
Hopefully the latter, but we'll support whatever decision you make. It's your decision, after all! :)
Thank you for all the stuff you've done here. ᵔ‿ᵔ
I can't say that I have any suggestions, but I do have something that can help make story writing easier! Grammarly is an English language writing-enhancement platform developed by Grammarly, Inc., and launched in 2009. Grammarly's proofreading and plagiarism-detection resources check more than 250 grammar rules! And guess what? It's free!
Except for premium, but whatever.
I totally didn't just copy and paste a good chunk of that text from Google's description of Grammarly.
You're not alone. With all I have going on, writing has fallen by the wayside a bit. I'm still writing, but not nearly as much.
I've been wondering where you've been. Noce to see you again
How about someone like Lily Longsocks? (It's good you're having a good time. .3)
Knighty is updating the site to include general fanfiction at some point in the future. Like you, my passion for pony stories has dwindled, but I remain on here (and even support it through Patreon) because I have fanfic ideas for other franchises I intend to get out there once that big update happens. Stick around until then if you feel more passion for writing non-pony stories.

That would be so awesome!
I'll be sad if you leave, lil sis. What about if you write about some of the ponies from Our Village?
4617272
Ooh, that's a good idea
It's so great to hear from you again. I can relate from your going through. Losing your spark of writing ponies.... yeah, I've been in that same state for over awhile now. But you may never know what the future holds for us. I look forward for any future content from you. Stay positive ya cute little fluffy marshmallow
It's good to hear from you! I do hope you'll stay around even if just to talk and visit. I did read your entire post (always do!) I support you and your writing, Leah, and would enjoy reading any of your works, pony or not.
You have a real gift for storytelling and I hope you will always enjoy writing.
As for a story with a character you haven't written, how about Flitter.
Good luck and always know I'm here to listen, little cupcake!
4617281 It's always a pleasure to see you around.
As for suggestions, try Discord, Princess Celestia and Luna when they were children.
Lately, I've noticed a number of authors who retired or semi-retired making comebacks. If you need to take some time off, you'll be back when inspiration strikes again, I'm sure.
Besides, young people go through stages quite rapidly, and I'd guess you're going through one in which ponies are of a low priority. Don't sweat it.

Thank you ^^
keep writing if its what you enjoy , then we will be here .
