Review #65 - Sisters are Awful, No One Goes There

Yup... only two today... that's because I got bored right before I wrote the third.

As always, I will put down my recommendations, but I truly hope that you to make the choice on whether to read a fic or not yourself.

(Comedy, Random)
They may be princesses, but Celestia and Luna are still sisters. Sisters that don't get along too well. And, like most older sisters, Celestia finds Luna to be extremely bothersome. Luna loves her older sister and wants to be like her. But she can't, because Celestia doesn't feel like talking.

Review
This one, while it has quite a bit of comedy, it also has a large quantity of slice of life. Siblings can definitely relate to this comedy, though. Luna in this one is... adorable. Just, adorable. I'm not entirely sure how to explain it, but I shall try: bouncy, innocent (the young and unknowing of the world type), and altogether adorable. Celestia, however, is the perfect "older sister that is annoyed by the younger constantly" type of character. She is not afraid to play dirty if it means she gets her way. These two are such siblings, and compliment each other in every way possible to make this adorable fic. If any story could have a "Cute" tag, this would be it.

It does, sadly, have a weakness. This one's greatest weakness is that there is not enough to it. Though it has an ending, and a good one, it somewhat feels incomplete, like there should some sort of a continuation.

Recommendation: Recommended/ Highly Recommended. (Because this fic is just adorably cute... and if you have a sibling, you will be able to relate very well).

No One Goes There by Rinnaul
(Dark, Horror)
A broad, clear path runs through a deep wood on the far side of Ponyville. No one goes there. Four young colts want to know why.

Review
This one is such a horror fic. Not really the jump-scare, or scary types, but the creepy, subliminal kind. All the characters in this story are plot devices... but pay close attention to them, as they contribute to the horror in their plot-device-y way. Well, that was the shortest character analysis I've ever done. Oh, I know what I can talk about... how I actually missed the meaning of this the first two times I read it because I wasn't paying attention. Pay attention while reading...

This one's greatest weakness would have to be the horror is a little too hidden, and easily missed.

Recommendation: Highly Recommended for horror fans. (Because it's a good horror fic).
