So I decided to crawl out of my pit of eternal cynicism and watch the new ep since there was a griffon in it and some possible Gilda screentime. Honestly, she seemed kinda like a ridiculous caricature, but I still thought she was kinda cute. I even got a new story idea from it. There's your three a.m. dose of waifu fawning. Sunset still #1 tho.
Still waiting for Legend of Everfree more than anything, really. Any of the other episodes after the hiatus watching or nah?

She was so heart crushingly adorable in this episode. How long till the porn of her starts to run rampant across the net? I'm betting on there only being two hours left before we see the start of it.

Stranger than Fan Fiction
Buckball Season
Dungeons and Discords
The Times They Are A Changeling
The other two are still entertaining—"28 Pranks Later" has a strong third act and "The Cart Before the Ponies" has some neat visuals and a catchy song—but you don't lose much by missing them.

She could be a bit overbearing at times, but the sheer level of adorableness pretty much overrides it. Gabby is just too cute for words. Basically the griffon Pinkie Pie, really. It was nice to see Gilda again too, even if it was just in the form of flashbacks. Kind of hope we'll get to see Gabby and Derpy interact someday, if not in an episode than in the comics or something. The adorable mail delivery pony/griffon need to stick together. Also, just as a general positive note on the episode as a whole, Scootaloo sympathizing with Gabby for wanting something out of reach was a nice touch. I feel like the fact that she's still obviously upset about her inability to fly but still turned it into something she could use to motivate herself and help another friend who was having a problem was a really nice character moment.
As for the post-hiatus episodes...I'd definitely recommend Stranger than Fanfiction. It's pretty predictable, but it's a genuinely fun ride that takes some time to poke fun at the show and the fandom. I'd give most of the other episodes a watch too, though I agree with the sentiment that you won't miss a whole lot with 28 Pranks Later or The Cart Before the Ponies. I wouldn't say that they're bad, really, and I think they both had a good premise, but I definitely felt like they were some of the weaker episodes this season when it came to execution. Something fun to watch to kill some extra time, but not something to particularly go out of your way for.
If she did get a mark, it would probably be the old comedy/drama theatre one for over acting/reacting.
