FiM finally revisits changelings on August 20th

So I just discovered this interesting little tidbit about an episode coming up in the second half of Season Six:

The Times They Are A Changeling - When Spike travels with Twilight and Sunburst back to the Crystal Empire to visit Flurry Heart, they discover the entire empire in a panic due to the reported presence of Changeling spy.

The planned air date is August 20th. I'll be interested to see how many headcanons I came up with for changelings in Second Chances, Many Changes will actually continue to hold up.

I am so sick of that particular pun. You don't even know.

I'm genuinely surprised that it took them this long to get back to changelings, given just how much potential the race has. Even Chrissy, with all her stock villain cliche's, is very easy to make into a sympathetic character without breaking canon.

I'll admit that I am also curious to see just how much established head-canon gets accepted or Jossed.

With how much many fan liked (or more if affinity) the changelings, it is surprising that it took them so many seasons to get back.

I'm curious as well. How many fanons will be broken by what we learn in these new changeling episodes? Or how many will be surprisingly confirmed? Will we see more than the one changeling, or just him? AHHHH this changeling doesn't want to wait nearly a month to KNOW!
