I've been a bit under the weather since Trotcon, but feeling better now.
This weekend I need to work on putting together some poni stuff for my niece (she's up here for her birthday), and my inability to do basic things makes that a bit difficult. So I may be delayed a few days on the Trotcon retro and the other long post I still really really want to share with y'all.
To head off any possible confusion, I've added a clarification to TEEE's story page and a note at the top of the chapter explaining that TEEE was not written using LLM generative AI (the story actually predates this technology by several years).

Sorry for disappearing. Ironically the thing I wanna talk about is the thing that keeps me from being here at FF or getting anything done. 
I've inserted a paragraph of foreshadowing to Part 2 of Project Pink Slip in Twilight's Secret Journal that I'd mistakenly left out of the final edit.
Of course, I'm not telling you which one it is. 
Due to conzaniness I won't be able to rewrite the lost chapter until after Trotcon, so Wednesday is most likely.

Yeah, that's what stuck out to me, too. No idea what it could mean, though. Maybe it's just a tic we could use to spot infected ponies? I'd say Twilight might spot a traitor with this, but she has to maintain her perfect record of never seeing anything coming.
I guess now's a good time to ponder just how weird the vampony thing is. Why does the sex revolution want many ponies to be sex monsters (not all, though. Luna said not everyone would become one)? It can't be a coincidence, they know how to control it and how it works for every species, but where did all this info come from?
The way I see it, there's only two good suspects for the origins: Luna's Guards, and the Crystal Empire. Gut says batponies. Or both, if it was once widespread but stamped out and censored. Why was Fluttershy seemingly patient zero, though?
Edit: Actually the zebras could fit. Zecora came pre-gold, and would absolutely target Fluttershy first. There's so little to go on that associates with zebras otherwise, though...
