Blinking, he found himself in a different place. Fluffy clouds were both beneath him and above him. There appeared to be stars in the clouds, glowing motes of light that twinkled. There was no pain, no ache, no feeling of overwhelming hunger. In the distance, there was a bright glowing orb that looked an awful lot like the sun. Beside it, there was a large glowing sunflower that he was certain he had seen before, but could not place, not in his current state of confusion.
'Cause it's kinda important. Anybody? I'm kinda nervous over here... I don't want people saying I'm pulling something out of left field. 
Every time I think that something of yours came out of left field it turns out that I read some chapter too fast. Either that or my mind wandered off and didn't come back on time.
I saw it, I thought it was pretty sounding. I have the distinct feeling the Celestia is a Sunflower type mare & totally naps on that.
Read it and didn't think much of it considering everything happening to Tarnished is he tripping, lucid dreaming or something else

Noticed it, didn't recognize its importance, still haven't really. Is it Celestia? I thought she was a small sun... Wouldn't be any of the other 3.
So, I'll just sit tight till next chapter for answers.
Does it have anything to do with Tree Hugger?
Or should I wait 'til Saturday to do a VI reread and scour the VI cosmos for the reference?

I was guessing who it was before I looked up the scientific name of the flower, which just confirms it.
(After you brought it to my attention in this blog post, anyway.)
I don't think this would be so surprising even if you didn't include this hint, though, and I still don't know exactly what's going on with her and what her relationship with Celestia is.
I guess that is how Celestia connects to Helianthus. Since Twilight mentioned seeing Helianthus and Celestia in one room together, I suppose Helianthus is some sort of golem? Celestia surely can pull the strings of both her and her golems body with practice, which she no doubt had in more than a millenium.
Hmmm...Did tarnish have any prior experience with Sunflowers...
