Forced chapters are not good chapters. I expected somthing different with the arm rather than Shortbeaks jumping to it, you had hinted at a town reaction. I was really expecting a "burn the witch" moment from the griffins in his own care.

I understand writing can be good work, but if your wearing thin (here I go again) your concerned fans will plead reason. We all care, and wouldn't ask for your harm. I want more of this story as much as anyone. But not at the authors expense (or sanity).

Also, didn't they find somthing of his, a car maybe? What happened to that?
