Exactly what it says on the tin:
This time around, I used some knowledge I'd gained from actually taking an art class. 
Y'know, stuff like negative space, depth of field, color schemes, not having every last thing at 100% saturation... That sort of thing.
I would like to thank Bad Horse, for pointing out how much the art on my Amber Spice stories sucked, giving me the impetus to finally get around to improving it. 
(Darndest thing: The old art on Desert Spice was never intended to be permanent. It was just meant to stay on there for a little bit so that I had some kind of cover art for when I rushed Desert Spice out the door on the heels of the epilogue of Tastes Like Heresy. Hay, the file was even titled "Interim Desert Spice Art." Inertia is a stupidly powerful and powerfully stupid thing, my friends.)

Not just yet, I'm afraid. FLOOF is going to need a bit more XP before she gets her next chapter. That'll be a lot easier to do once she's in the first spot in the party.
