Yeah, I think I went in over my head here.
You know my new fall of equestria story?
I'm considering deleting it.
But before you rage, hear me out.
I love the Second World War and the history it made. But I think that crossing it over with the Fall Of Equestria verse, where sex slavery and rape abounds, doesn't add up to a good story.
I liked the premise, and often when I write based on a premise, it never really works out. I've tried that with many different series/games/whatever, and I really don't know.
Should I, or should I NOT delete my new story?
I mean, as soon as I posted it and it was approved, I got a torrent of likes, favs, and comments. But If I'm writing just for that, I might as well quit. Writing comes from the heart, and this wasn't in my heart, it was in my brain.
And my brain?
That shit was fucked up completely a long time ago.
I have stories that need more attention (Equispartans II, EAO II, The Division-Cold Horse being major players) and the last thing I need is another story to take attention away from what deserves my attention.
So, with my best intent, I am deleting my fall of Equestria story. It was never really what I wanted, anyway.
BUT
I will put up a blog post later with how it would have developed and ended. And I promise you will see more updates for my others stories to make up for it.
So, sorry. I really am.
Sorry to hear that, as I really liked it, and the premise of it.
But it's your story, so you have to do what YOU feel is best.
4009704 Thanks. Instead of deleting it, I cancelled it. Hopefully someday in the future i'll resurrect it. But not for a while. At the soonest, when I have three more completed stories on site.

Please don't give up on this fanfic, I too am a HUGE fan of WW2 and as you can tell a MLP fan since the show first aired back in 2010, so please don't give up on this story, I would love to see how the humans will be able to help the ponies out with the Caribou.

Honestly, do what you feel is best man. Write if you love writing, don't write something you have no passion about simply because its what people want.
However, I do want to see the story continued, or if not then at least the same kind of setting, like post-WW2 Earth armies kickin' arse in Equestria for whatever reason.

Do not take this as a joke though.
The Second World War and the history it made played a role in my intelligence since grade school; while you may think that crossing it over with the FOEverse doesn't make a good story, you're wrong: WWII has had so much rich history worth of learning for the next generation.
The premise in and of itself, was decent in theory; it was the execution that mattered when it came to the story in question that you wrote no less.
You don't have to delete the story; just continue if you must.
The reason you got a torrent of likes, favs, and comments, was because that you didn't rely too much on exposition; anyone can write a story in this day and age: I have even written a fair share of them myself.
At least your brain got off luckily; I was not so lucky: the fact that these pictures exist had nearly turned me into an insomniac although it could have been f
king worse.
I, too have stories that need more attention and another story to take away from what deserves attention would be a burden upon myself as it is in your case.
Please keep your story; it's what the world needs.
As for the other stories, do as you wish; they deserve more.
Besides, it's okay anyway; just do what TOM had said and "stay gold."

The fascist elements are clear in Fall of Equestria. It is entirely right to have a WWII story based around it. It's how mine works. Bad sex stories make great War stories.
