When I'm told there's going to be a large thunderstorm that going to knock the power out (and it will) I plug my laptop up. THEN I fill up buckets with water.
Naw, not that bad either. though i do tend to block everything else (including hunger) when i'm deep into something online, especially if i'm watching a video or listening to music via my headphones. Upside and downside to them? They pretty much block out all external noises. Good for being able to clearly hear what i'm listening to... bad when i'm expected to hear something else.
