Hello, my friends!
My apologies for disappearing for so long this time. As usual, some burnout hit me, but now I have returned! And just because I was gone, don't think I was down for the count. I've had plenty of story ideas bouncing around in my brain, just waiting to be written down! I'm also now registered for BronyCon this year! Last year was amazing, and I cannot wait to be there again. It even looks like my dream of cosplaying as Lyric may come true, as I have found a wonderful dress to wear.
For some reason, FIMFiction is not allowing me to upload the picture, so if anyone is really interested, they can see it here. I wish the lighting had been better, but it at least gives you an idea. Originally, I had planned to find something closer to Lyric's coat color, but then I realized that her coat color is practically the same as my skin tone. Wearing a dress like that would have looked odd. So instead, this is her Grand Galloping Gala dress. And don't worry! She'll still have her signature cloak as I bought the materials for it today and have found someone willing to put it together!
I may have also found someone to do my wig! No confirmations yet, but please go check out her Etsy page. There are so many wonderful things to see, and the owner is fantastic. She's been willing to answer all of my questions so far and has definitely been a joy to talk to. On top of that, I have a pair of clip-on felt pony ears that I purchased at BronyCon last year that will be easy to use, even with the wig! I'm debating whether I will use them or not, but I likely will. And someday I may get a tail to complete the look, but that is only a maybe at this point as it would likely be hidden by my cloak, and it could get frazzled very easily. But, we shall see!
On top of all that, my good friend Emylia Hawke has once again outdone herself, and created some extraordinary cover art for The Earth Ponies' Specialty.
