Waited until evening to post this because I expected to have caught Arcanine in Pokemon Shuffle.
So much for that. 
Anyway, if you've got Pokemon X/Y/OR/AS, don't forget to download Jirachi before April 24th! You can download it into multiple games from a single account, so go nuts! Just be sure to have some TMs handy because Jirachi comes with a weak moveset.
Now, let's get down to business.
Pokemon Shuffle
Last week saw the appearance of a new Pokemon Safari which added Clefairy's evolutions, Deerling and Sawsbuck, and "Angry Pikachu".
After catching all the new Safari Pokemon, I finished S-ranking all the existing main stages, unlocking Arcanine in EX stages.
After several unsuccessful attempts to beat Arcanine, I farmed 15k coins for an item run plus Great Ball. Beat Arcanine with 20 seconds left, 37% base catch rate, Pokeball failed. Used Great Ball, 74% catch rate...
Great Ball failed.
FUCK.
So I have to do two whole days' worth of coin farming all over again and there's no telling what new content will be added at midnight to distract me.

So how do you get jarchie and the other specail event pokemon again?
3848386 I have no idea what a Jarchie is, but for Jirachi, you choose the "Mystery Gift" option from the game's menu, then select "Receive Via Internet" or whatever it says. (Next month's distribution will be via GameStop code.)

This has been the case for all legendaries distributed through a special event this year. Fortunately, it's easier than ever to obtain most of the good TM moves.
3848547 I don't think I'm even far enough into AS to do bases yet, and I honestly don't really care about secret bases. ^^;;
3848671 alright I just wanted to ask was all. I need a couple more flags then I go platinum then get garchomps mega stone. I'm on stage 150 of Pokemon shuffle I have like level 7's and 6's.
3848905 Ouch. You need to grind on Ampharos' stage for a while, because Mega Mewtwo is gonna fuck you SO HARD...
3848918 I keep getting him to like maybe 5 more moves. I beated glalie with level 6s. It took me awhile though.
Got both my Jirachi's yesterday and walked over to Smyths to get a code for a Legendary Bird here today, haven't entered it yet to see which if the 3 I got though.
