The Mythical Pokemon Shaymin is now available to all players with Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire. Download it today!
I didn't get in much time with Pokemon Alpha Sapphire this past week due to being busy with other stuff, so this week's Pokemonday is mostly about Pokemon Shuffle.
Pokemon Shuffle
I ranked #1,539th in the Mega Absol challenge, which is the highest rank I've achieved in any contest to date. I won not only the Absolite, but also a Mega Speedup!
I spent most of the past week farming coins. Highlight of the week: 3800 coins on the Sunday Special Meowth.
Time for another Pokemonday as we enter the last week of September!
Pokemon Shuffle
I finally caught Gothitelle and S-ranked her stage at the same time. It cost a buttload of coins.
I've still got a few main stages to S-rank...

Aoi, a young girl who just moved to Littleroot Town, is starting out on her very own Pokemon Journey...
Aoi is the daughter of the Petalburg City Gym Leader, Norman.
Since nothing new happened in Shuffle last week except one new Pokemon being introduced in Special Stages, I spent the entire week grinding up Pokemon in Ampharos stage, and am now grinding coins for whatever comes in the next update. Since Shuffle is all I'm actively playing at the moment, I'm just going to skip the usual Pokemonday full list of Shuffle stats and sum it up thusly:
Pokemon caught: 373 (every legitimately available Pokemon so far and ALL Mega Stones available so far)
Which isn't much except a quick Pokemon Shuffle update.

So did everybody enjoy the latest Escalation Battle?
For the first time ever, Pokemonday has updates for all three games I've been playing! (Of a sort.)
With the arrival of May comes the next X/Y/Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire distribution event from Nintendo! This month's Mythical Pokemon distribution is Darkrai, and it's being distributed through (ugh) Gamestop serial codes. Darkrai is available through May 24.
Now, on to business.
It's that time again! Both for Pokemonday, and for a reminder: beginning June 1 through June 24, those of you who have Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire can get Manaphy by direct download from Nintendo. No special codes, no "you have to go to the McDonald's in Nantucket at exactly 9pm on a Friday and ask for Joe." Just connect your game and you've got Manaphy.
Also, don't forget that having Manaphy means you can breed Phione.
Wow, Pokemon Shuffle had one HELL of an update last week, didn't it? Let's get right to it!
Once again, nothing on Alpha Sapphire this week except that my next best shot (and last shot) at actually getting Hoopa will be toward the end of this week or middle of next week.
There's not really much else to say this week as far as Pokestuff goes, but here we go anyway.
As usual lately, all we're covering this week is Pokemon Shuffle, but there's a lot to cover.
This Pokemonday blog post is dedicated in memory of Wes Craven

Pokemon Shuffle
After catching all of the latest batch of new Pokemon and two of the new EX stage Pokemon (Terrakion and Cobalion), I spent most of last week farming EXP and coins. Yesterday, I finished S-ranking all the new stages, unlocking Cobalion.
Haven't caught Cobalion yet.
Pokemon Shuffle
So after all the misfortunes I suffered leading up to last week's Pokemonday, in the past week I've caught Arceus and Wobbuffet, won a Blazikenite, and gotten very adept at Meowth farming for coins.
With no events of note happening this week (no new stages, no special Pokemon I haven't already caught), I'm going to spend the entirety of this week farming coins and trying to tie up loose ends (such as Genesect).
EDIT 7/28: Caught Genesect!
Yeah so...
Pokemon Shuffle
Curiously, they decided to update Shuffle on Friday instead of Monday this week. Some new stages went up, as well as a new live competition and a new Special Stage to catch Regirock.
Regirock was easy to catch, but the new main stages are proving to be a pain in the ass. So much so that I've burned through all my coins, and am presently farming Meowth to earn back enough coins to CRUSH Gothitelle.
