Pokemonday Picked A Peck of Pickled Pikas · 6:24am Dec 7th, 2015

Once again, nothing on Alpha Sapphire this week except that my next best shot (and last shot) at actually getting Hoopa will be toward the end of this week or middle of next week.

There's not really much else to say this week as far as Pokestuff goes, but here we go anyway.

Pokemon Shuffle

Caught the latest Gen V legendary to hit the Shuffle, and have a pretty high ranking in the Mega Steelix challenge, so I'll get the Steelixite plus a Mega Speedup in all likelihood. Apparently, Shuffle is updating on Tuesdays now instead of Mondays...possibly for good? Looks that way anyway.

Pokemon Picross

Yeah, it's a thing. It's not bad, but it's not great. The real problem is you need Picrites to unlock new areas, and the stage winnings don't pay out enough Picrites to unlock new areas after the first couple, so it's basically like Candy Crush in that you do have to pay to unlock new stages after a certain point. Also, it stops being fun when the puzzles get to 15x15 size because of the TINYFONT the clue numbers are in (and the other reasons it's not as much fun at that point). Tossed this one in my "stuff I'll probably never play again unless I'm SUPER BORED" folder on my DS.

I can't remember if it's been asked, but do you have any plans to play Super Mystery Dungeon?

Sometimes I enjoy your Pokemonday blogs solely for the titles, they're that amusing to me. :derpytongue2:

3599283 It's not really on my radar. Due to my limited budget for games (read: $0.00), I usually only get full-price games as presents or when I've somehow managed to save up enough for one, so I tend to only get the games I really, really want. And I've never really been interested in the Mystery Dungeon subseries.

(Flash sales, PSN freebies, et. al. are another matter entirely...)

Just as a note for the Hoopa event. You'll need to connect to Mcdonald's guest wifi and use the '"connect to internet" option in the mystery gift to get it. I puzzled about it myself for about a half hour last wednesday before trying that. The connect to local wireless does jack shit when it comes to getting the Hoopa and the employees didn't know a thing about the event... despite there being a sign on the toy case that they had to pass by every day when they entered the bloody building.

Uhh, duh. Of course. How else would you get something distributed through an Internet connection? :rainbowhuh:

Insert blunt Sugarcoat remark here.
