Pretty much what it says in the title. I wouldn’t tell you guys something this personal, but this carries a number of consequences: Sideboard is finished, My Little Praetor won’t be coming back, no more blog title puns or Friendship is Card Games, et cetera.
Sorry, I just got tired of it. These things happen. Heck, I’m taking a long look at whether I really care that much about ponies anymore.
Oh, and one more thing.
April Fools. 
Yeah, consider this your friendly reminder to be even more skeptical of the Internet than usual today. (Granted, some parts of the world are already on April 2nd.

Thanks for not updating a bunch of things with stupid joke chapters. Worst part about April 1 is seeing a million updates and getting excited until you actually go to read them. I'm tracking most of your ongoing stories so it would get tiring awfully quick.

Considering how 'overly serious' people have said I am (and how overly serious I know myself to be), what I'm about to say will feel paradoxical to me: April Fools' Day is one of the few things that, I think, was meant to remain non-serious and lighthearted.
Even upscaling the classic 'whoopie cushion' prank to a hotel-sized number of targets would be a more rofl-worthy April Fools' Day prank, I'd think. I mean, you'd need some real cunning and sleight of hand to pull off a stunt like that.

Honestly, I find the 1st of April to be the worst day of the year. Everybody is trying stupidly obvious jokes like "I'm leaving forever" to the point where they are aggravating me even before I try opening them, because I know what's inevitably going to be inside. And you cannot avoid them.
They. Are. EVERYWHERE.
All this "celebration" succeeds in doing is literally trolling everyone, because everyone will have to spend additional time being wary of anything anybody else says.
Was totally not an April first yesterday. And it won't be for me until later today.

Alas, such is the tyranny of Sturgeon's Law. I personally think the few amazing pranks make up for the vast number of uninspired ones, but that's obviously a matter of taste. At least ones like this are nice and blatant, so you don't have to waste much time figuring out what's really going on.
Thanks for the reminder. Now I can (try to) blame you (this being the first April Fools thing I came across) for my own participation in this (awful?) holiday, which has now seen one of my stories receiving far more attention than it is now even less deserving of.

Yours was a better execution of this April Fools joke than many, maybe even most. I am genuinely amused by the fact that while my own blog post today was clearly in the spirit of April Fools, I didn't lie (poke poke), and thus ended up fooling someone.
