Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you all have a lovey-dovey time!
Whether you're in a relationship or not, go and enjoy yourself. A holiday's a time for relaxation and good feelings.
I know I will! I mean, it's not like I have no one to spend it with, hehe. R-right? No one at all...
I'M SO LONELY!
Velcome to ze club.
Aww... *Huggles you*
Hooray to being single and free to do whatever you want. Like playing games and pretending you're not thinking about your ex.
+1 for Noodle picture
-1 for reminding me how awfully alone I am. ;A;
Make space on that couch. Imma get a spoon.
YOU HAVE US, eLLen!
3753555 I feel you.
3753547>>3753567 Double Amen!
You can spend it with me.
I must be the only one here who isn't bothered by solitude on Valentine's Day. For that matter, I'm not really bothered by solitude in general.
I can easily handle being by myself, as long as my solitude isn't accompanied by absolute silence. Total absence of any sort of ambient noise is terrifying to me, even if the surrounding environment is well-lit.
3753585 Most of us aren't sociopaths and have a desire for human interaction.
3753591 I never said that I detested social interaction. I only meant that being alone doesn't bother me, just as long as my solitude isn't totally devoid of sound.
I don't 'need' human interaction, but I'd hardly turn down the chance to have a meaningful conversation with someone. Some ideas just need to be shared with another person.
3753596 Social interaction is on the hierarchy of needs. We need it. If you don't, you have an aberrant psychology. Probably sociopathy.
3753604
3753596 Cut it out or take it somewhere else, you two.
3753614 what did I do?
3753618 I just don't want an argument in here.
3753624 Were we arguing?
3753625 If not, it looks like it would turn into one.
3753628 I'm sorry. Forgive me?
3753641 Sure.
3753646
Yeah i'm going to pull a rarity and eat ice cream out of the tub tonight
Probably doesnt help if i work third shift, sleep all the time, and no no idea how to interact with my own age group.
OH WELL!
3753628 I was not aware that we were giving off that impression. If it means anything, I wasn't upset, I was simply clarifying what I meant by what I said.
3753604 Calling that sort of psychology 'aberrant' isn't exactly the most socially friendly commentary, especially considering that 'normal' doesn't have a universally accepted standard. One person's 'normal' is another person's 'deviant', after all.
In any case, just because I'm comfortable with solitude, doesn't mean that I'm 'anti-social': Anti-social behaviour would mean actively pushing social bonds away, something I don't do. If anything, I'd much rather keep the social bonds I have, since good company is hard to come by.
Edit: On a side note, Happy Valentine's Day, anyway.

?
"aberrant psychology" means any psychology that's deviant from "healthy" or indicative of reduced function in parts of the brain / chemical imbalances.
Like anti-social personality disorder, one of the behaviors of which is not placing value on relationships and an inability to feel love, as well as a muted emotional response.
Valentines day. The day couples go broke, or the single people feel inferior. (But they still keep their cash.)
3753694 I looked up the definition before my last reply, and this was the definition I got for biology: "diverging from the normal type."
But it would probably be prudent to either take this conversation into a PM discussion, or drop it entirely before it has a chance to turn ugly. This blog doesn't belong to either of us, after all.
I have no problems and no hard feelings, either way.
3753664 You're also implying there's something wrong with people who do value relationships and companionship, and wish to fulfill their hierarchy of needs by fulfilling the desire to mate, and thereby feel a wrongness inside of themselves when they're not adhering to baser human instincts.
3753713
3753709 I already said to stop. Another post continuing the argument from one of you, and there's going to be a problem. Take it somewhere else.
3753730 He started it.
3753730 Right. Sorry.
3753749 It's alright. Have a good day.
3753752 I make no guarantees, but I will try.
-grabs a bucket of icecream and starts eating along-
3753596 Sounds like an introvert to me.
3753879 That would be a relatively accurate term, yes.
I joineth Rarity on her chaise lounge.
No Valentines activities for me. I spent most of the day being violently ill. Really not pleasant
There's only one way to celebrate
ValentinesSingles Awareness Day under our circumstances...i.imgur.com/IL6sMKV.jpg
Tequila!
Cheers my fellow singles! Now if you excuse me, I need to buy more if I am to survive this day...
Lonely Singles Appreciation Day here too....
Have one of these on me!
but if you are a woman it is like a million times easier to find a man than the other way around. all you have to do is be flirty and suggestive and most men will pretty much be putty in your hands wither they know it or not.
of course there is more to it than that, but it shouldnt be too hard to get some attention, right? then you can take your pick.
3754731 I don't like guys!
3754736
ah irony...
still there must be somewhere you can go and say or at least show that you like girls?
3754759 Probably. But I'm not even looking to get into a relationship right now.
