Do we have any Magic: the Gathering fans in attendance? If so, sad news. · 1:36pm Feb 12th, 2016
While checking the obits on Wikipedia, I discovered that two Magic: the Gathering illustrators, Wayne England and Christopher Rush, died within a day of each other this week.
I don't collect or play M:tG, but odds are some of my followers do, so I thought I'd share this news.
Wow, within a day? That's almost too much of a coincidence.
My friends I talk to personally are fans, so I guess I will have to tell them.
Personally, I will be sad when Kazuki Takahashi dies.
Okay, I'm honestly starting to wonder what god we pissed off to cause so many deaths. Seriously, we're not even 1/6 of the way into 2016 and so many great people have died!
Damn... This is the Year of Death... I didn't know about Rush, but Wayne England I'm familiar with because of MTG and D&D. That sucks.
Holy cow. I knew about Christopher, but not Wayne. Umm... at least [url=http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?action=advanced&output=spoiler&method=visual&artist=+["Terese%20Nielsen"]Terese Nielsen isn't dead?
Both of them? This is... this is a massive loss. I had no idea. Thank you for the news, Moth.
What follows provide context for both men in terms of the game:

Unfortunately, due to how BBCode and Gatherer interact, you're going to need to add a closing square bracket (i.e. "]") to see for yourself. Sorry, everyone.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
