2015 - A Year in Review · 2:50am Jan 1st, 2016
let's get the fantastic, albeit depressing song out of the way first
HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! Once again, I realize that for most of you it's probably already 2016, but it's only 6 PM on the 31st where I am, so...
I wanna thank all of you for sticking with me this year. This has probably been my single most productive year ever both on FiM and in real life. Let's look at some stats, yeah?
This year, I:
Wrote 45 stories
Published 23 stories (16 on this account, 7 on my alt)
Gained 560 watchers (204 on this account, 356 on my alt)
Got 5 fics published on Equestria Daily
Got 2 fics accepted into The Royal Guard
I'd say that's a pretty productive year, yeah? And that's not to mention having editing credits on loads of different fics (including the uber-popular Fractured Sunlight), and getting three different fics to over 1000 upvotes each.
Honestly, I can't take credit for this. All my gratitude goes to the lovely members and friends of the Writeoff Association. The first fic I wrote this year (I Dream of Evil Shampoo, despite the date it was published) was for the Association's January contest. In April, I joined the Association Skype chat, and the peeps in there have done nothing but support me and push me to work my very hardest for all of you.
Fellow Writeoff members, I love you guys. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have you around to help me work, give me advice, and cheer me up when I'm at my lowest. I can honestly say that some of you are my best friends.
So, since I feel it's appropriate, here's a list of some of the people who seriously changed my life this year, and will probably continue to change my life in 2016. Note that this isn't in any sort of order, and isn't comprehensive—I have a terrible memory, and I'm sure there will be lots of people I accidentally leave off. But here goes:

Thank you all so much for being my friends this year, and not just immediately refusing to speak to me upon first contact.
So, what's to come? Well, if I published 23 stories in 2015, why don't I shoot for... say, 24 stories in 2016? Sure, it's not the most ambitious goal in the world, but it's still pretty good, ain't it? 
That dark comedy fic I've been working on for months will be published soon. I just need to find the time to edit. Other than that, I must admit, I don't really have anything planned. Of course, at the start of 2015, I had even less planned! I was half-sure I was about to leave the site at that point! 
Fortunately, leaving the site isn't anywhere in my current plans.
