Analemma Chapters Delayed This Week · 2:40am Aug 21st, 2023

Hello friends! Some annoying news: This week's Analemma chapters are going to be delayed by a few days. They'll still take place at the correct time in the story's timeline, but won't match up with real time.

I really wish I didn't have to do this, and I've been staying up until sunrise trying to work on the chapters. But between EFNW, work, a COVID scare, and spending time with family, I'm running on fumes.

And the fact is that these next few chapters are very important to me -- I want to be in the right headspace to give them the effort they deserve.

Thank you for understanding -- I'm going to assume that you understand preemptively -- and please look forward to what's on the way.

Of course! Take all the time you need. Sure, I’d like to see more of the story, but more than that, I don’t want you running yourself into the ground, and then drilling your way through the ground.

Thank you for the heads up. Now get some rest!

Understandable, take all time you need.

Take your time, and best of luck

Spoiler Alert: in the next chapter, sunset shimmer kills timber spruce with a hammer. In the chapter after that, he comes back to life and subjects her to another Tarantino foot fetish compilation.

Posh how could you!? I was so excited for the inevitable elephant stampede!

In serious, rest up. n_n

take all the time you need darling

How dare you have a life outside of fictional horse women???? For shame! Shameshameshame!

You're still doing amazing as far as I'm concerned and you're making the sensible decision based on what's going on

I find there's usually a delay at some point or another with fic release. Either a delay leading up to the release of something if you're like me and wait to post until the thing's fully done (both writing and art in my case, so both of us have to be done or close to it); or if you're posting as you go, there's an undefined but still real limit to how long it can be done on a perfect schedule before real life decides to push things back, even by a bit. And by this point in my writing, I've stopped accepting shame for that in either scenario. We all work on the schedules we're able to and that work well for our projects, and any forced breaks from that won't make the quality any less great

Rambles aside: VERY much looking forward to what's on the way based on what's been building and what's just hit a boiling point. The dorks won't know what hit 'em...

Glad it was merely a covid scare.
