Literally.
So you may recall that I said once before that I was done with fanfiction, and I totally am. Three Nights in Manehattan was unusual in that my sister asked me very nicely to finish it before I moved on, because she was so deeply in love with the idea I'd pitched over a year ago that she wanted to see it concluded before I left.
And where do I go from here?
Well, I'm not going to "leave" Fimfiction, so to speak. I'll still poke in now and then to answer comments or say hi. I need to get the Through the Well of Pirene Audiobook and Hardcopy finished (more on that later.)
But I've got short stories, novellas, and full series knocking around in my head, and I can't let this hold me back anymore.
I love the world I've created, I love all the people in it. I love all of you. I loved writing here.
Like Marcus in this story, I have a dream I need to follow, and I've held back from it too long as it is.
Wherever you go from here, good night, and good luck.

Be sure to let us know when you get a book published so we can go out and buy it. You do some of the best world-building on this site, and better than that of many published authors. There's definitely a future for you in writing if you choose to pursue it.

I've only just come across your writing thanks to another pony having you on their bookshelf and have fallen in love.
(Currently at Chapter 11 of Through the Well of Pirene.
While I'm sad to see you retire, I'm glad that these stories are here and that you've created what you have.
I'd also like to repeat what the others have said and ask (politely!) that you let us know how things go in the future.
With your excellent stories, you can write about anything and have it be an absolutely wonderful, captivating read! Write, write, and never stop. I think you've earned the right to write about whatever you please, and I don't think anyone should hold you back.
That all said, thank you so much for your time and sharing your wonderful stories with us. You've ignited some wonderful inspiration, and I thank you deeply for that.
