Now you all should know by now how much I hate clopfics. Cliche bullshit with barely any character or dignity to them, right? Of course I;'m right and you know it. But this, THIS is perhaps the first example of how a clopfic - if you really have to write one - SHOULD be! There's no one chapter devoted entirely to a pony fucking the three holes of the other pony, it's a steadily written and paced tale. There's a bit of character development thrown in to. This story make me believe it is worthy of having the romance title, and that's a major fucking achievement right there.
Don't read those shitty stories about Shining Armor screwing his poor little sister's ass. Don't look into that story about Rarity getting raped by Changelins. Don't even read those Big Mac and Marble shipfics that don't even give a reason why they'd be compatible. Read THIS story instead, because this my friends, is perhaps the first ever original Mature/Sex-tagged story you're ever going to find.
Kudos to the writer, who goes by the name PastelProse. Let's hope those idiots out there who call themselves writers because of their stupid written-in-ten-minute clopfics learn a thing or two from this person. In fact, I think PastelProse is deserving of a follow from me. PastelProse, if you should read this blog post, know you fucking earned it, my friend. I bow politely and honorably to you.

See, the majority of clopfics on this site follow one rule; make ponies fuck each other. And they slap a Romance label on the package and call it a day. I don't read stories for porn, but if it's there, then I need the writer to answer one question for me; why should I give a damn?
Why should I support two characters when they have sex? Why should I care for their - cough 'LOVE' cough - for each other? I don't, because there is no love in those stories. But you don't follow this rule. You actually gave me reason to believe that Twilight and Luna loved each other. You didn't hurl sex in my face in the first chapter, not even the second. I'm not even sure when the sex is meant to happen, and that is good! You're building up to it. You're making good pacing and constructing characters with believable emotions and feelings. You're even bringing the concept of homophobia into this story, which is a real-life issue, and you're writing it well so far. I'm just shocked that you're not the one with 2,000 followers with this kind of writing.
Oh wait, I know why. It's because they're fucking idiots who fell for the clopfic pony-sex-for-the-sake-of-sex bullshit. Stories that just get right into the fucking because the writer is smirking like a little twat knowing that he or she's just conned more easily-aroused idiots into reading something that has been done SO. MANY. GOD. DAMN. TIMES. BEFORE!
Well, I've followed you, and I'm not exactly 2,000 followers. But I hope my words at least are worth that much to you. Because you deserve as much praise as 2,000 followers for what you've written here.
Whatever anyone says about your story, remember this; you're a shining example of how romance stories should be written. Pacing, timing and proper construction. Some writers just want to copy 'Fifty Shades of Gray', but you're writing 'Fifty Shades of Hey this is actually a really good story that I might enjoy!'.

Surprisingly, not every story with the Mature rating is a clopfic.

But even with the filter off, it doesn't mean I can just forget this problem. Especially when a purposely bad clopfic I wrote ages ago is the fuel behind my dislike for them. I've told the story before and I'm not telling it again.
Thing is, I'm not entirely against these clopfics so much as I am against how lazy and cliche and even downright pathetic they're becoming. 3538717 I saw the cover of the story you linked to me, and I just realized I've read this series in fact. I just forgot the title of it. But yeah I did enjoy this series. It was pretty well written and I liked the whole Changeling perspective.
The side stories...well, I read one of them and it wasn't to my taste. Can't remember if it had porn or not, but if there are side stories that exist specifically for the purpose of porn, then although that's a huge letdown on the writer's part they at least kept the porn out of the main story arc itself, so I shan't grumble too much about it.
I'm in no mood to grumble at all given the death this morning.
