Fourteen hours on a plane is not the most fun way a human being can spend a day. But unfortunately, that's what one has to do to get back to Singapore after vacationing in France to visit family. Nursing tenderly my throbbing head, searing eyeballs, and aching neck, I unpack and briefly check to see what's new on my emails and FimFiction account. And then I find that I've gained 121 strangers staring at me.

Anyways, I'll go ahead and try to keep this as condensed as possible due to my pantheon of agony. So let's start off with the novella a certain short-skirted explosive character wrote. You've probably read that. In fact, that's probably what brought you all here. It's funny how skirts is able to turn a purple author such a furious shade of red. And I will not stand for this. As said novella told you, I'm a slow writer. This is true. However, I did not indulge skirts enough compared to what he's done for me. So sit down and let me retaliate so I don't feel overcome with guilt.

Skirts, out of the many authors I've met during the course of LOEG, is one of the most generous, kindly, thoughtful authors I've had the pleasure of encountering. Despite his initially intimidating zaniness and the fact that it was only pressing upon my severe inferiority complex, I learned to get along. It was amusing how bumbling we were at first in retrospect. But spend enough time with skirts, and you learn to speak his language. Who knew that "f'naa" was a language all on its own? His work, which I have a love/hate relationship with, is intense stuff, but he was mature the whole way through. Unlike me. I love tooting my metaphorical horn. But as far as marsupials go, skirts is an awesome possum, and through it all, it was a ton of fun and an immense honor to get to talk with him and pick at his brain matter.

/gush

Also, another thing I usually do is give some sort of brief rant on my stories when they go up. And Anno Domini is receiving a very late one, but I'll address it anyways by saying the following:

No, I am not writing more of it. Because:

Now enjoy your Tom Waits while I go clutch my head and pray for sweet death.

Actually, I decided to watch you after I found out that you wrote Anno Domini. I'm enjoying some of your other works right now. :rainbowkiss:

I read the title and thought you just had a hangover, then I read the blog and thought in Capt. Jack Sparrow's voice: Clearly you've never been to Singapore...

Here's to you recovering after partying hard!

It's this blog post that reminded me that I've read Air, but for some unfathomable reason, haven't favorited it yet. What was I thinking?!

Also, since everyone won't stop gushing over it, I've placed Anno Domini on my read list, despite my tendency to avoid dark and tragic tags. Sometimes, a reader just has to suck it up and read the prose. Also, I should probably give White Box a read since, again, it keeps coming up for recommendation. I feel so behind the times.

Glad to see you back, safe and sound of body! If not of sound mind... :pinkiecrazy:

>Nursing tenderly my throbbing head

Pffffft

Wait so you're not finishing air or you are?

SS&E is Bane? Oh man, that... doesn't explain anything, actually.

:rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh: Wow, Chrome, you are one clever lemur!

>your whole paragraph on Skirts
*clap clap clap clap clap*

>Who knew "f'naa" was a language...?
BAHA!

OH MY GOSH THAT IS THE COOLEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN. How'd you do that!?

Gonna start "Air" soon. I even Favorited it to keep in my sights. Thanks to that image, I'm 20% more excited.

Ya Anno is what brought me here, mostly becuase that fic was

Chrome, this is EXACTLY how I felt working alongside you on team shadowbolt. Except I carry the aforementioned inferiority complex with none of the added pretension. :applejackunsure:

... Not really going anywhere with this, just thought you'd find that... interesting? I feel like there's something I'm supposed to add, but I haven't the most remote idea what that is.

He lives in singapore...:ajbemused:

So... am I part of some exclusive club now for following you before all these "Anno Domini" shenanigans?

I get to be a hipster now! :rainbowkiss:

Jesus Christ on a pogo stick, that Bane picture made my day.

I am here because of Anno Domini.
As for who I am... have not decided yet.

Any blog post that ends in Tom Waits is fucking pro.

I'm here because of Anno Domini. It was good. And you deserve each follower you get.:yay:

I will finish Air. Heck, I was intending to from the get-go.

It's funny because I haven't even gotten to see that movie yet.

Yes. We have sandwich parties every other Tuesday at brunch.

Who knew that "f'naa" was a language all on its own?

:rainbowlaugh: :rainbowlaugh: :rainbowlaugh:
But it is! I imagine it's where he gets all those terms he uses to activate the runes in The End of Ponies

"Go enjoy your Tom Waits"

I don't think I've ever heard better advice! I assume "2:19" is ok.

Anyway, as for the subscriber jump, you absolutely deserve each and every one of them. The whole LOEG project was a really interesting idea, and it appears that it's given you a nice boost in terms of name awareness. Congratulations on an extremely well done, masterfully atmospheric, and downright disturbing story that managed to make me actually enjoy a Human/Pony crossover fic.

Did someone mention Tom Waits and Singapore at the same time?
Dayum, Singapore's a creepy song. :pinkiecrazy:
