You've probably guessed this already and I mentioned it in the comments of DH, but what I thought would be the easiest bit to write turned out to require ten-times that effort in both words and research time.

So, just a small heads up I'm in 'crunch time' on the chapter and that's why I've been silent. Not much more to add, just that its taking longer than I thought.

You are such a tease! :duck:

Well, when it comes to research, you have a fan base who can help. Why not throw some research questions out to the comments? I can help with firearms and American police procedure at least, and I'm sure you have plenty of fans with relevant skills. (Unless you think the question would be too much of a spoiler of course!)

3273405 I can help with pretty much the same, as well as the nature of physics and stuff concerning mathematics. Except Military rather than Police for me.

Its only half or so intentional, I swear. :trollestia:

A fair enough question, and, again, thanks for the offers. Always amazes me what wide and well-read walks of life my fans comes from.

In this case, though, its getting a few characters that haven't shown in quite a few books right, as well as one or two I found out last minute don't have a canon appearance yet. It's not hard stuff, as such, just not the 'quickly scan the books and rework it a bit for the context' I thought it would be.

So more a case of me miss-remembering and that borking my planning, rather then something in true need of outside help.

(And yeah, I know I could just pick a/a few pony/ponies given the central premise, but that's the lazy way out.)

3273511 Shoot, and I might be able to help. I recently got finished re-reading the Dresden Files for the fifth time out of sheer lack of worthy books to finger, eh.

out of wondering, what did you have to look up?

Sorry, but since about what/who that's about to come out of those Ways its a rather decent spoiler.

Thanks for the offer slash interest, though.

Jokes about how much coffee I drink per day aside, I am actually planning a post-mortem on DH. Its grown a lot in the telling, so I should hopefully have quite a bit too say. :raritywink:

3274420 You fiend! Such a consumption of the brewed bean shall bring about the end of times for us all! Heheh, that said aside, im sorta that bad for tea, if not worse. If not particular for the odd half half and half of sweet to unsweet.

Strange thing about the coffee and tea divide, actually.

Coffee I can barely stand if its not black, but tea I always take with enough sugar and honey that you can almost stand the spoon in it.

Guess its one of those matter of habit things.

3274485 Its a taste thing, not taste taste, but how it tastes, coffee is a mix of smell and taste, tea, cold tea at least is more in how it tastes. I dont get the smell aspect of coffee, but bitter is something i cant stand, and even sweetened, coffee falls in the same catagory as beer with the bitter taste that ruins the drink. With tea, i get the stuff behind it to make it.
