I Finally Made It · 8:17pm Jul 22nd, 2015

It has been said that:

As we all know, getting SS&E to write an overlong, overly purple, overly loquacious joke fic based on a joke in the cover of another joke fic is the very definition of 'making it.'

At least, I'm pretty sure that's been said. Its probably in the site FAQ somewhere. Or at least in a PM someone sent me.

Well, I, my friends, have finally made it.

The Great Moose Census of 1001
by ShortSkirtsandExplosions

Gore, Dark, Comedy, Random
12,879 words

MOOSE CENSUS BEGINS.

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY A FULL ENUMERATION OF ALL EQUESTRIAN CAPREOLINAE IS UNDERWAY.

To any normal citizen of Equestria, the secondary headline of the Canterlot Times is just filler to make the front page look denser and more important. To Special Agent Sweetie Drops, however, it's the beginning of a new task... and the nightmares to follow...

The Moose Is Loose.

Yes, that's right, that tiny little "Moose Census Begins" article I snuck on the cover of Dying to Get There has resulted in SS&E writing a random black comedy about ponies dying horribly while trying to tabulate the moose population.

Good old recursive fanfiction.

Gotta love the Internet.

I'm still working on beating the final boss. He's hard.

This community is so darned derivative sometimes. I love it.

We're so derivative we make banks jealous.

Faster than Starlight begat Blink. The two of them together begat Dying to Get There. And then Dying to Get There begat The Great Moose Census of 1001.

How deep does the rabbit hole go?

3260986 Surely we can squeeze another one out of this.

Where is that flamethrower nazi robot from?! :rainbowlaugh:

Wait, are you sure this is based on you? I saw the title and figured it was about using the census to expose Anonymoose.

Yes. The final boss of the internet is indeed, "hard".
