OC SlamJam - Round 2 Extension · 7:15pm Jun 9th, 2015
Hi guys. Just so you all know, based on some feedback I've been getting from various authors currently involved in the SlamJam, it seems everyone could use just a bit more time to get all of their entries in order. This being the case, I'm giving everyone a two day extension so everyone can finish touching up their entries (for anyone who's already submitted an entry, feel free to continue editing or revising or whatever).
Entries expected now on Thursday at 11:59PM CST.

Well, I wouldn't say I needed it, but more time to polish is never a bad thing. Good on ya, Obs, 'cause I knew some peeps having trouble and now they might have a chance. The more the merrier, so aw yeah! Erryone, do your best!

Huh. I was working on other projects all week anyway, so it's not like I don't need it too, but I'm still surprised that an extension was necessary. Why were so many other contestants running late?
Ugh... Mine's been ready since Friday... Now I have to wait another three days before the comp. story's ready...
Come on, people. If I can finish my entry in three days while on vacation in Puerto Rico, you can at least have yours manageable on time for Tuesday night, right? Apparently not. What were all of you doing that kept you so busy?

For me and one other dude, at least, the answer is finals. And I probably will have mine done by tonight, but it'd have been close and not as polished as I'd've liked, so I certainly appreciate the extension.
Plus, a slight increase in time when there's a slight increase in allowable length only makes sense, in my book.
3135585 Psh, everyone keeps talking about this "school" thing. You should all do what I do, and go to a school that gets out in the middle of April. Then no one will have to sit around while other people are productive.
But yeah, the extra length/extra time thing is a good point.

I am also salty about the fact that I damn near killed myself last night getting mine finished.
