Hullo again, everypony! Just dropping by to let you all know that Chapter 10 of the sequel is done now, and Chapter 11 has officially been started. Chapters 1-8 have been officially submitted to proofreaders as well, so woo! Progress remains steady and dependable, especially with my new keyboard, but I'm also predicting a writing burst in the near future, which brings me to my next tiny bit of news.
My health is still an issue, but shall hopefully take a turn for the better soon. I'm scheduled for surgery on the 17th. Provided I wake up again afterwards, I plan on spending my down time from the operation writing on the story. :) The sequel's tentative title is "Forgiveness Pending" for now, and will tie up loose ends from the first story, introduce a lot of new ones, flesh out characters more in both the Mane Six, Supporting Cast, and Mender, and further introduce many new arcs to the storyline. On another note, slightly more... saucy scenes might be present. In order to comply with my planned T rating, if I do write them, they will be cut from the main story, and an alternate version of the chapters shall be posted elsewhere, safely tucked behind a higher rating. That way those who don't enjoy such scenes won't be forced to read them and still won't miss any sections of the story. ^_^

Not to be a downer or anything but in the odd event that you don't actually make it, could you give your proof reader permission to post it? I'd rather have a partial story that I can think of you whenever I read it rather than always wondered what was going on in Kiro's mind.

Silliness aside, it's great to hear from you. It's been all quiet on the western front since your last update. Of course, I haven't been on here in awhile. It'll be nice to see some more risque-ity (that's a word, right?) in this story, and I whole-heartedly respect your decision to keep the version here devoid of....stuff. Where will you be posting the other version? One of your other accounts, perhaps?

You're just supposed to be writing about Mender constantly getting sent to the hospital, not trying to emulate him.
But yeah, I've had a few surgeries in the past, so I know they can be pretty nerve-wracking, even if mine were relatively minor. Hopefully yours isn't anything too major, though. And I'm probably stating the obvious here, but I hope you can give us an update as soon as you're up to it afterward, so we know things went okay.

How was surgery? You survived it, right? Because I've been growing tremendous concern, and it's been two weeks since you've been on, and you haven't replied to any of the comments like you normally do
! But I sure hope I'm just being pessimistic and you just need a lot of time to recover and can't post anything on your blogs because you have a lot of physical therapy that you need to work on! Or maybe you're just so busy working on the story that you've forgotten to check up on us

They're bound to be exceedingly cute! And yes, mine has been needing to come out for a while. It was badly infected and they wouldn't let me have it, due to biological hazard reasons. 
I did get to keep the half dozen plus stones that were inside of it CAUSING the infection, though.
