Happy new year, everypony! I’m sorry I’ve been dormant for so long. I’m still around and alive. Just dropped off most internet presences for a bit. In the words of one of my favorite writers: “Monsters are real, and ghosts are real too. They live inside us, and sometimes, they win.” Stephen King, by the way.
Depression is quite the monster, and don’t let anypony tell you differently. It’ll eat away at every facet of your life until there’s no enjoyment left for anything. But, I’m still hanging on and here, so I count that as a victory. I still have pony ideas too, though for now, I’ve put them on the shelf.
Instead, I’ve switched gears so to speak. I’m writing again and have been for a little bit now. I’ve created my own world, with its own characters and stories, and have been writing in that instead now. It’s something entirely original, of my own creation, and I hope to set up a tip jar for it eventually. I never felt right taking tips for something that wasn’t mine. But funds are getting tight and it’s an unpleasant struggle, so I have to do something to try to work my way out of it.
The world and stories are furry in nature instead of pony. If anypony is interested, my primary outlet for it is SoFurry, and my username is Kiroberos of course. I mirror content to FurAffinity and Inkbunny too, but my primary spot is SoFurry. Their features handle writing and authors better, and more prominently. If you’re not interested, that’s fine too, of course. It simply may be a while before I return to writing pony. But until then, stay safe, everypony!

I recently re-read your stories here... It's good to see you still kicking. :) I must admit, I am a bit saddened that Eternity Pending won't be seeing any updates for a while... You should change the tags to canceled or on hiatus, whichever is more appropriate when you can. It has been 4 years after all. Lol

So glad to hear you're alright. Take your time and do what you enjoy! Your stories have been and still are a huge inspiration to me as a writer, so by all means do what's best for you and come back whenever you're ready. We'll all be waiting with open arms.
