If I randomly disappear, it's because I've been banned for excessive following. I've already received a warning and been told that I was not to follow as many people as I've been following lately at the rate I've been following them. However, as I'm sure a lot of you know (especially those of you who've asked me to edit stuff for them), I am really forgetful.

Where is this rule that claims excessive following is a banable offense? Is it somewhere available for the general public to look at? I checked through the FAQ and Rules section, and didn't find anything pertaining to excessive following.

Well, if "excessive following" is really that big of a problem then it should be clearly listed on the rules list, not left up to "moderator discretion". Moderator discretion leaves a lot of gray area that will lead to arguments about what is considered "excessive". Everyone has a different definition about what they think is excessive.
I would understand if it places an undue stress on website and therefore causes slowdown on the server, but I don't know if that is the case here. Did he give any reason as to why you shouldn't be following so many people other than "it's a rule somewhere" or "because I said so"?
