I just watched the first two episodes of Pony Life and the show is weird and dumb. The visual style of the characters is basically some anime chibli mixed with Cal-Arts and the backgrounds look like the backgrounds from The Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog. They just gave us a repaint of a comic book Penguin action figure from the 1980s. Nobody really know why Kenner screwed up. Some say that Kenner was impatient to released the new tory before the movie was finished. Other s say that Kenner felt that The Penguin from Batman Returns was too scary to be made into an action figure. There is a good reason why Kenner no longer exists.
