They were both good, though I highly prefer the rewrite since I felt Pinkie moving into cupcakes territory really never fit the tone of your story. The original did have the "error code" which was a great shining moment.

Well, as has been stated, you can't please everyone all at once. When it comes to rewrites and corrections, I have put the following in "The Art of Writ":

...it doesn't need to become perfect, but it should be cleared of all major issues. A writer shouldn't spend so much time rereading and correcting the unnecessary details that he or she misses out on continuing to write and share. All that really needs to be corrected are those major mistakes. Beyond that, not much can improve what is already written besides completely rewriting it, something that isn't usually a pleasurable experience. And sometimes, not even that can improve it.

To conclude that, here's that poem:

Some things are not done quite yet
But soon these things will be,
For what, when written, seems okay
Is good enough for me.

It's good enough, in fact it's fantastic. Though it isn't perfect, on to greater things!

Nothing, per se. Just that the first one was significantly darker than the rewrite. The major components are the same, and none of the plot hooks changed, but the way a few things were handled changed to match the lighter, more comedic tone set by the rest of the story.

PICKLELESS THE NEW VERSION OF THE CHAPTER WAS- *coughs* Pickleless, the new version of the chapter was much better in my opinion.

Pinkie Pie's breakdown was much more in-character too.

Well, I'll be honest. Both chapters are really good comedic wise and while bothaachieve the same end result, the new one does it a slight bit better.

My favorite part of the old one was Stupid shouting "ERROR CODE 137!"

While in the new one its stupid telling Spike that he might have given Pinkie permanent brain damage and Spike's reaction after that reveal.

Though the fire bit in the beginning is still the best in the chapter as whole.
