I was contacted earlier today by Neighrator Pony, who told me he'd done a reading of my latest story, The Sweetest Water, and wanted to make sure I was okay with him making it public. I think it's a tremendous compliment when someone enjoys your story enough to do a reading of it, so saying "of course!" wasn't exactly a hard decision.
This is his first fanfic reading, but after listening to it I never would have guessed that. While I admit I'm not the expert on fanfic readings (that would be PresentPerfect, I believe), I thought he did a wonderful job. He has a smooth, relaxing voice which lends itself well to the task of narrating a fairy-tale, and he did some nice things with background sounds that I thought added to the production.
