Story Update Email Glitch

Okay, I now have no idea what's going on. Yesterday, on two occasions, I accidentally clicked 'Unpublish' on a couple of chapters and needed to republish them, resulting in people getting update emails about the story for no reason. That, in itself, was no great disaster, but for some reason I'm now getting spammed with emails telling me that "A Bluebird's Song has updated." I've had 5 at this point, and no republishings have occurred today.

Basically, is anyone else getting email-spammed by this story lately? I've also had messages about chapters being inaccessible or vanishing entirely for short periods of time, so yeah. Is this a known glitch of the site, and basically, can anyone shed any light on what the hell's going on with the auto email system? At the end of the day, I don't want people unfavouriting the story or unfollowing me because they're getting their inboxes spammed up by it.

Any help is much appreciated.

I don't do the email updates, but I'm not getting any weird notices like that so I dunno...

175686 Yeah, and I've just noticed that the story's got into one of the last two feature-box slots again, which it tends to do when it updates, even though I've not done any updates or accidental unpublish-clicks today. Okay, I'll give it a bit of time and see if it keeps on doing this, and I'll also change my password, just in case any screwing around is going on.

It was a little disappointing when I got the email and noticed there was no new chapter, but no need to worry about people unfavoriting. Where else would we get our emotional porn?

Thanks for the responses, guys. I think, (think), it's stopped happening now. Not trying to tempt fate or anything, but it seems the glitch has deglitched itself. Also, I am totally saving that Applejack 'Yes' gif.

Got an update email this morning for the story as well. It's not really bothersome I just keep freaking out thinking the story is over and then I see it isn't.

I stopped getting ANY email updates a month ago for any stories whatsoever!
Does anyone know if there is a toggle or setting for this. I KNOW I have hundreds of stories that I'm watching (ticked the "Email Updates" check)... and I have not had one email from Fimfiction since at least May 28.

I just want to read... and no updates makes it hard to keep track of!

Anyone else seen anything like that?
