Non Spoilery Rainbow Rocks Review · 5:18pm Sep 27th, 2014
Hey folks, just got back from giving up ten of my Canadian Dollery-doos to check out the new Rainbow Rocks and gotta say it's pretty solid.
The designs looks a bit tighter and the plot isn't as holey as before. Some fun dialogue and very catchy songs and lovely background music too. All your fave get screentime and a couple lesser knowns pop up too. An interesting stinger after the credits too so make sure to stick around for it.
What it really comes down to is this. If you liked the first one then you'll enjoy this one. If you weren't a big fan, this won't change your mind.
I'll do a spoileriffic post later.
Erk, forgot to include the editing blog link. Here
So, would you say it's objectively better than the first movie?
Aren't they called loonies?
2488159 Definitely.
There's way more going on plotwise and less glaring plotholes. The villains are great too.
Wait, that came out today? Goes to show how much of the hype has died down since the Vinyl music video. Either that or every piece of information regarding this thing since the trailers flew right above my head.
In any case, since I liked the first movie more than the average person, I think this one's gonna be good too. (I really hope there won't be as much cringe moments though.)
Off-topic question: Since when are you Themaskedferret?
Eeeeeeexcfellent.
I'd rather be stabbed in the face with a spoon.
