Status of Ironic chapter 2

I have a small personal guide-line.

When people start making jokes on how the continents have shifted, or tearful post about 'this thing isn't dead... right?' then it's a good time to get your thumbs out from under your fat ass and give your readers a statues update.

Crazy, I know, but it works for me.

Anyway... the big problem, is that the fip-flop between silly and serious tone most of you seemed to love about chapter one? Really, really damn hard to get right.

I've got a third draft that seems to be going somewhere... but well, that does mean two failed. The first just turned out way too mean-spirited, while the other ended-up this utter snore-fest of a far too long dream sequence.

Sadly, they both contain quite a few concepts that will be reused, so I can't quite share either of them yet.

Still, I'm (roughly) fifty percent done with chapter two.

Hopefully done before the month is, but no promises.
