Well, it's been a whole month since I've done anything pony productive! Well, not entirely true, I have a notebook filled with thoughts and scenes for my stories, so I've not been completely out of action. Still, having internet restricted only to your Iphone kinda sucks. There's only so much you can do and writing isn't one of them.
But, boy, have I missed you guys! I still have work the rest of the week, and next week, my family is going to Las Vegas, but for all intense and purposes, I'm back. A little slow going at first, but I'm here! And, wow, I missed so much in the short space I was gone.
Well, it's official: Long Road to Friendship is and probably will be my most successful story on this site. Why? Well, it got to Equestria Daily the day after I had to turn my computer off. And now, it has a TV Tropes page!
What? I can't even...
I love all of you.
Still not quite sure why you all have this fascination with this particular story, but I've learned to just roll with it. I've got things planned that I'm looking forward to, so I hope you'll all enjoy it as well. I've learned with this story that I need to make myself happy with it first, but I'm still striving not to screw it up for the majority of you.
I seemed to also hit 300 followers while I was gone. Geez, I turn my back for two seconds and I have more stalkers. I'd do something special, but I honestly don't know what. So for now, you'll just have to take my undying gratitude.
I said take it! No givies-backsies!
I also missed my second anniversary of being apart of Fimfiction. Looking back, it was quite an exciting year, too. I made a lot of good friends in the last year, too many to name (perhaps in another blog post). But, you know who you are, and you know I enjoy talking with you guys.
So, going into my third year at the magical school of Fimfiction, I have plans. Big plans. Now, don't panic, but this might be my last year as a fully active member on this sight at least in terms of writing. At the conclusion of this school year, I really want to start fleshing out and writing my original fiction stories, and I don't see how I can properly juggle the two, and sadly, fanfiction can't make real money. BUT! Before I step down, (and that's still speculation, but the day will come eventually) I still have things I want to do!
Sunset of Time will be finished! If I can do it before New Years, that'd be awesome! And afterwards, I have a very big project I intend to jump right into it. It will be an adventure story. It will be long. It will be epic.
Of course you know, Long Road to Friendship will continue. I've got like, eight chapters written in my head. Soon, I'll have to sit down and have a long conversation with myself about where I want the story to go from a certain point. It has several paths and I have several ideas, but I want to pick the one that will make the most sense and continue without it feeling dragged out.
And lastly, my first foray into a new genre: murder mystery. I still intend on releasing a new story involving Coco Pommel, but murder is harder to write than I expected. Still, I love a challenge and hopefully, you'll love the story.
So yeah, lots to do. A whole month away means I have a lot of stories, art, tumblers and comics to catch up on, so I'll spend a few days doing that.
In the meantime, please enjoy some Blazblue music. And yes, I did enjoy Chrono Phantasma. It was one of the few reasons I wasn't bored out of my mind. (Screw you Take-Mikazutchi).
If I could give Sunset a theme, this would probably be it.

Congrats on the TV Tropes page and EqD, I'm gonna head to TVT and check it out. I'm gonna be submitting mine to EqD after another chapter or two so I can properly flesh out the original concept beyond the introductory chapters. I've got you backing me so I have high hopes.
Looking forward to more LRtF. For me it's your characterization of Sunset and how well you handle the other characters. I also have SoT on my read later list and will be getting into that... soon? I hope. It's a large read later list.
Sunset's thought processes and the way she acts and speaks, it's just so fun to read. I can't wait to read more.
See, that's why I love my Galaxy S3. I open Google Docs, turn on my voice recognition, and dictate to my phone while doing whatever. This way I can continuously be working on my stuff without actually trying to type it up on my phone.
ILRTF is a good story, it's what The Equestria Girls movie sequel should, and it's so well paced. Also, you know you could always start a Paypal and Patreon account as a sort of 'tip jar.' Just an idea, I can't support you without a credit card, but one day.

Take-Mikazutchi is a final boss in Blazblue and takes the form of a monstrous satellite cannon that has an attack that, even when you block it, takes away half your health, and I can't dodge it! You also have to jump to hit him, so half my attacks are useless. Pain in the ass.

Hey there, Alby. It's good to hear from you again, but it's a shame you're apparently going to stop writing fanfiction in the near future. So I was wondering if you'll still be reading fanfiction on this site even if you stop writing it? Because I hope to hear your opinion on the rest of my own story, and I'm sure there's a lot of other people here that are thinking the same about their own works.
Regardless, I wish you good luck on those original fiction stories.
