Giving birth is one of the greatest fears in my life. I applaud you for being able to do it. Also, the cats fan and other things I hat are pickles, bananas, and fish. They just get everywhere and make everything smell bad and the smell stays there forever. Let me paint you a picture that drives all mortal men insane: you are on a nice trip to a ski resort, driving across the country. Suddenly, bannana. Also, your feet get cold and your hair shatters because you put too much gell in it. Sometimes I feel alone. Some days are long and hard. But when I look out into the world, I am struck by the impossible beauty of it all. Those billions of magnificent accidents that led us to where we are today, that led us to paper planes and nautilus shells and the tiny, crooked smiles of children. 146165 Well I'm not super clear on OB/GYN stuff but its...well, surgery. Probably give you Versed which is hilarious. It's an IV sedative that you can feel yourself become a slurry drunk tard as it crosses the blood-brain barrier. I like to call it out when I'm on the table. Seriously you feel like you went from zero to drunk in like, maybe 2 or 3 heart beats, its hilarious. Probably also valium for conscious sedation, because they can't use general for this for obvious reasons. Post op they'll hit you with some IV meds for that. Depends on how you tolerate that stuff. It may feel like your nose is suddenly filled with metal for a hot second if they push the medication manually, because that's all you smell for a few seconds. I still don't know why. That's all speculative on my part, like I said. I'm not going into OB/GYN and I lack the anatomy for the procedure.
I have been on and off tables for spinal injections for like, years now. So I am very jaded as to how those medications hit. They will hit you like a freight train, probably.
