The "Fourth Seasonal" consists of loosely connected fics that are compliant with and based on the fourth season of MLP:FIM. Fics from Princess Twilight Sparkle Endcaps are part of Fourth Seasonal, with one partial exception. My "Fourth Seasonal" fics all use the same backstory for Discord, Celestia and Luna, from the series The Last Draconequus.
Pre-Seasonal:
Awkward Conversations: Takes place between "Keep Calm and Flutter On" and the beginning of the fourth season (and at least some chapters take place before "Magical Mystery Cure"), so it is prior to fourth season but intended to be canon-compliant to fourth season. Discord has a number of conversations with members of the Mane 6 and other characters. They do not generally go well. No ships. Story is INCOMPLETE as of December 22, 2015.
Signal to Noise: Takes place between "Games Ponies Play/Just for Sidekicks" and "Magical Mystery Cure", so it is prior to fourth season but intended to be canon-compliant to fourth season. Twilight could possibly have forgiven the thief for stealing books from the library. But when she finds food stains all over a few the thief returned... oh, now it is on. No ships. Story is INCOMPLETE as of December 22, 2015.

Vines: What Discord was doing before he was summoned in "Princess Twilight Sparkle". Ship is Discord/Celestia, historical, mostly dead at this point. Story is COMPLETE.
Detente: Post-"Princess Twilight Sparkle". Zecora and Discord have a conversation about the Tree of Harmony and Discord's own future. No ships. Story is COMPLETE.
Light Rain: Discord shows Fluttershy rain made of light. Chapter One only is canon compliant. Chapter Two forks into the Elements of Opposition series. Ship is Fluttershy/Discord, one-sided. Story is COMPLETE.
Intra-Seasonal: Fics taking place during the fourth season, not associated with season opener or finale.
Crumbling: Fluttershy has a nightmare. It's not defined exactly when this happened, but I suspect it was after "Light Rain". Can be seen as either Fluttershy/Discord ship or platonic friendship. Story is COMPLETE.
Love, Friendship and Chaos: Endcap to "Three's A Crowd". In which Discord hates his life, Cadance is a bit of a troll, and Twilight learns an important lesson about friendship and the concept of negative vs positive attention. Ampersands are Twilight & Cadance, Pinkie & Discord, Fluttershy & Discord, and to a certain extent Cadance & Discord. Ship is Discord/Twilight, one-sided. Story is INCOMPLETE as of December 22, 2015.
For A Few Parties More: Pre-episode to "Pinkie Pride". Cheese Sandwich meets Discord. Nuff said. Ship is kinda Cheese/Pinkie, though it could be an ampersand if you want to look at it that way. Story is COMPLETE.
Post-Seasonal: Fics taking place during or after the fourth season finale.
Traitor: The story of "Twilight's Kingdom" from Discord's POV. Story is COMPLETE.
No Escape From Yourself: Discord is afraid he'll fall again. No ships as of yet. Story is INCOMPLETE as of December 22, 2015. This story is also included in Fifth Seasonal.
