I've started cooking up the next chapter of Contrail. It's amazing what some planning can do. Chapter six should be another good dose of story progression. And something both me and Merlos are really excited for. Here's your hint. I'm not at all ashamed to say that none of you will understand where I'm going with it either, only that it makes me smile.
Have fun thinking about it. Anyone that guesses correctly what this has to do with the next chapter will get a reward of some kind. Only the first one to guess gets it, and if no one does, the most entertaining or closest guess will get it by default. The reward is a mention/commendation in the A/N of the next chapter. So, yeah, not really that huge, but its the best I can offer. And because I just know... Merlos, your banned from this contest. Alex, that goes for you too, buddy, sorry. Good luck everyone.

Hmmm well a contrail is a type of air current and you posted a vid of tail spin btw awesome show so i'd have to guess it has to do with eith planes or pirates though i'm probably way off

No idea what to guess, but I shall blame shenanigans at Louie's island club/bar/motel/fuel place.
TaleSpin. That really takes me back. Well as some have pointed out, contrails are those trails in the sky left by aircrafts. But perhaps the title has more to do with that old conspiracy theory about chemicals in these contrails, known as "chemtrails". Perhaps the villain behind kidnapping and dimensionally scattering the Mane 6 that we've seen pop up in the corresponding chapters of "A Twilight Landing" and "My Little Marriage" leaves some kind of magical contrail in its wake. But then there's the theme song for TaleSpin presented here. When we last saw Rainbow Dash and Applejack, they had stolen a flying chariot and were on their way to investigate some magical disturbance in the Griffon Kingdom. Griffon's fly. Perhaps they will into some kind of aerial dogfight with Griffon air pirates.
