I'd like to thank all the readers who got A Great And Powerful Legacy featured on the front page for several days in a row. It's died down now, but the response was overwhelming, I've been writing fanfiction for a decade now and have never had such a response in just a week's time. 3,700+ views, 100+ comments, a 673-11 rating as of this post. I'm in awe, I really am. I would consider the story one of my weaker works as a writer, and not as strong as my other two MLP fics, but somehow it took off, and I love you guys for it. Again, thanks so very much, you're awesome, and hope you stick around for Mega Mare as it updates and any future stories I'll be doing.
I personally enjoyed this fic greatly. It sort of gives Trixie that redemption I've been hping for since Season 3. Could you write more, like sequels to it?
1926625 Well, I won't say "no, no sequel", but it's unlikely, while I found the ending unsatisfactory I don't have much ideas for a sequel. If I took the fic anywhere new I'd start by overhauling the existing story to work as the first chapter of a longer work. Which is possible, if I come up with a storyline to wrap this idea around :). But in that case I'd probably post it as a new work to preserve the original for those that enjoyed it.
1926653 Remember don't force yourself to make a sequel. If you do that the chance is that the response will be poor, like if a video game publisher got your favorite game series then rebooted the series but it was a boring generic garbage.
I would agree with Dragacane, and I respect your choice Drake. Again, if you feel it is enough, stop there. It was a brilliant piece of work, and it would be a shame for it to be sullied because of hungry chappies like myself. My apologies for that.
