    Quickdraw Blog. BANG!

Heya folks! This will be a quick blog, more rapid update outta necessity than witty commentary, so i'll cut straight to the chase. I've got good and bad news. The good, in my opinion, outweight the bad! But you be the judge:

It Cuts Like a Knife; It Might Leave You Bleeding

Story reviews are interesting because, sure, you can use them to know if a certain book will be the right one for you? But I feel they’re more useful when the review is in itself a tool to talk about storytelling in general. You review a book, but the book is a jumping-off point to discuss what it means to have good pacing; stuff like that.

A Full Year of Only Mondays

Good morning. This is, from my point of view, a comedy blog. From the point of view of my family and loved ones, it's a horror story.

I'm so fucking back, baby. Hi, all. Did you miss me? I know I did.

Sequels, tie-ins, and whiskey · 9:28pm Feb 3rd, 2014

Well, this is weird. Remember my last blog? The one in which I told you that I was going to write a SoL sequel to Long Story Short, Things Went Down?

It's being planned, but it's pretty hard to write. It might end up being cancelled, depending on a lot of things (most of them being "I'm writing other things too, and I might end up not having enough time"). To give more details: Bon Bon is supposed to be somewhat funny, and I wrote her incredibly mean-spirited. Er, more than usual.

My hopes are high about this, though. Come on, I can do it!

But anyway, this blog is not for me to whine about a possibility of not writing a story. You see, there's a story that's technically not a sequel to Long Story Short, Things Went Down, but a side story. As in: set in the same universe, but with different characters.

It's very short, it's already written, and you might want to read it, as it will be somewhat important for the actual, adventure-tagged sequel for Long Story Short. The one you will need to wait for, as it's not even started and I need to write the entire thing before posting anything. The first story took me like two months to write, so yeah, be patient.

The side story, however, will be here in a couple days. Hell, it's already written. It's written in first person, by the way, so the feeling is different from Long Story Short. Bite me: I wanted to try something different. The characters are actually likeable. I still tried to give'em unusual characterizations (although this one is not as extreme as the one you already read).

So, that's it. I'm announcing this now because the day it's going to be posted I'm going to talk about so many things that nobody will notice this particular thing.

Oh, and why is that I'm writing a side story all of a sudden? Six minutes, forty seconds in A Canterlot Wedding Part Two. That's why.

It's a long-term thing. Trust me on this, fellas.

I read this whole thing, thought about something to write and did it. Easy as that :pinkiecrazy:

I want to see more sexy sado-maso LyraBon.

I think settling for "I know this is a bad idea so I'll wait until I do better." instead of "People are expected me to be quicker than this." Is always a good idea.

Bridesmaids huh? This should be interesting.
