Extra Emoticons V3.6: Better and with more stuff

My emoticons script has been updated and some of the many changes is the addition of a search feature. The content is installed separately and instructions on how to make custom content packs can be found here. This script has also been tested to work perfectly fine along side FimFiction Emote Extender a great script by KrazyTheFox that does things slightly differently.

Content Packs
There are currently six official content packs available.

Round Stable Pack
This pack adds many of the pony themed emoticons found in roundstable.com forums.

Pony Pack
This pack adds a bunch of pony themed Emoticons including those made by iloveportalz0r, clapping ponies and a few of my own.

Contributors (full listing):

Credit for these great clapping ponies go to Taritoons and members of ClappingPonyIcons over on DeviantArt.

MinecraftForum Pack
Adds all emoticons available on MinecraftForum.

DeviantArt Pack
Adds all of the official emoticons from DeviantArt.

TwitchTV Pack
Adds all emoticons that can be used in the chat at twitch.tv

Kaomaji Pack
Lastly, my personal favorite, the Kaomaji emoticons.
Kaomaji are the eastern alternatives to normal smilies a full list can be found here.
And of course here is an example everyone probably knows: (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

Unlike the others these do not use images. But do they really need it?

I'm using Krazy's Extender right now, and I like the looks of yours, but I have a question. Is there any chance of just getting a "pony pack"? Minecraft icons and smileys and all that other stuff doesn't really interest me, but I'm always up for more ponies.

Yes I was actually considering that. I should really break that pack up. Unfortunately a some of the pony ones are from someone else's emotes plugin and I may have to remove them depending on what he says.

I FOUND THE PROBLEM! First, you need to have this (WARNING: this instantly downloads the script). According to this line of code:

// @require http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/181425.user.js

It is required. Second, I would suggest downloading Tampermonkey. It is for Chrome users, and when you install it, you will find the problem. It has a certain compatibility setting on, Convert [blub, bla] = s.split(':') statements, and it is causing a (with what limited knowledge I have) to make certain lines independent of each other or something. I don't know. Ask the programmer guy. XD

For this fix, though, it will only work on browsers that can download Tampermonkey, as far as I know. So, I don't have a fix for the others.

Also, Sollace, I suggest going in and finding a picture format or making a picture format for all of the Kaomaji emoticons because it sucks to have to hover over every textbox until I find the one I want.

Just disabled the full set and installed the Pony only set, still having the text box resize problems. Only now, the emoticons are being shoved off to the side into a box where it's one per line in a single column that needs to be scrolled through.

Ok, I see what's happened. knighty changed the text box so now you can't resize it. I'm going to disable the code that deals with that. That should fix this problem.

I can't get the Emote Extender nor the Kamoji icons to appear.
I am on Chrome

For Kamoji you have to go to options > Convert [blub, bla] = s.split(':') statements and set that to false.

Looking at Emote Extender it appears to be well and truly borked on Chrome, and barely functioning in Firefox. It also has started to interfere with Extra Emoticons so I'll have to look into that. You'll have to go and ask the maintainer to fix it as that isn't my script.

For Chrome users you have to make sure that all of the compatibility settings are turned off.

On your Tampermonkey dashboard you click the script name then there is a second tab labelled settings. You should see it near the bottom in a group called compatibility options.

Go to options > Convert [blub, bla] = s.split(':') statements and set that to false.

If you're not using chrome then it should just work, you can try reinstalling it and see if that helps.

Problem.
When I try to "Preview Comment" I loose the ability to edit my comment and if I post after "Preview Comment" :x:emote: does not get replaced with the corisponding [img] code.

Turning off your emote srypts fixes the problem.

What ever you did, fix it. It is very annoying.
