Martian (writer) - His stories seem to contain, as a matter of routine, some of the most poetic imagery I've encountered on this site. This is someone who deserves more attention. I know there are people out there who hang on my every word, and I urge all both of you to check him out.
CartsBeforeHorses (writer) - He writes funny stuff, he founded a group for the purpose of gathering every single story on the site with good grammar, and I'm pretty sure that I saw in a couple of threads that he's a fellow Colorado brony.
Making Friends by Arcum42 - Now it can finally be told: the story THEY didn't want you to hear! Or possibly just a light-hearted prequel of sorts.
Pinkie's Present by PixarPrincess - To be filed under "short and sweet", "cute", and "Actually, that kind of makes sense."
A Little Help from Her Friends by Bootsy Slickmane - Paraphrased Beatles lyrics for the title, Cutie Mark Crusader shenanigans, a speaking part for one of the rarer background ponies, a Pinkie Pie cameo role, a huge misunderstanding -- what's not to love?
Sleepless Nights by Silarias - Filly Twilight. Set course for Hnnng; ahead d'aww factor eight.

Fiddlesticks's Farewell by Slate Sadpony - If I may quote my comment on the story itself: "To put it simply, this was wonderful." She may not have anything resembling formal training in music, but Fiddlesticks is just as good as anypony else. She just doesn't realize it until Octavia shows her.
