Well, I wanted to put out another update to let you know my status. Smile Chapter 4 is currently sitting at around 9000 words so those of you who have been waiting for that to conclude will not have much longer to wait.
Green: Interlude 7 will begin writing once Smile 4 is done, sorry for the longer than usual time between chapters again (I have been trying to keep it to one update a month) but I wanted to finish out the other story. Plus working on Smile gives my muse a chance to sleep around a little which she appreciates.
Now, the final order of business... I want to preface this by saying... I write for love. I really enjoy all your comments, some of them are so touching. I did not start this with any hope of monetary gain. So when I tell you what I am about to tell you, please know, I am not saying I deserve money for writing.
That being said... I am in some deep hurt financially. I have about 2500.00 in loans which are costing me a good 800-900.00 a month in 'fees' (payday loan term for interest) and while I am managing to scrape by, I can't get ahead on these damn things at all. Worse, I keep falling behind on rent which incurs more. I never wanted to be 'that guy' who begs for money... but the alternative is to be 'that guy' who is too proud to say he could use a hand.
I am not expecting to be paid to write, I'll keep writing as long as you enjoy it, and probably longer because I enjoy it. But if any of you have the means or inclination... I am placing a tip jar metaphorically. My paypal is steelresolvefimfic@gmail.com. Please, noone feel like this is any sort of obligation, I will not be disappointed if I don't see a dime in there. You all have your own lives and I am sure many of you have problems as well. If nothing else, thank you for reading this.
